On Friday, March 2nd (7:30 - 10 pm) we are pleased to present another "Spirit Songs: The Music of Sufjan Stevens", an evening of music and reflection on the spiritual dimension in the work of an American singer-songwriter / multi-instrumentalist who has been called one of the finest songwriters on the planet. Stevens' music blurs the lines between pop and folk, historical and contemporary, sacred and secular. He offers his listeners an account of how love, loss, faith, and history affect each of us.

Caleb Wellum (PhD, Cultural History), Ely Lyonblum (PhD, Music) and others will provide commentary on various aspects of the spirituality of Stevens' life, writing, and song.
This event is open to all. Beer and wine will be available to those of legal age. Artists will have merchandise available for purchase.
