Who We Are
Redeemer Lutheran is a small, vibrant and diverse church at Bloor and Indian Road in Toronto's High Park neighbourhood. Together, we worship God, serve Him in our community and support each other in our spiritual journeys.
Sunday school is held September through June, during regular Sunday services. We all begin in church together. Then children aged 4-12 head to our one-room Sunday school. (There is no Sunday school on special Sundays, like Easter Sunday.)
Younger children are welcome to stay in church. Restless little ones can find a place to play in the church hall with their parents. Once or twice a month supervised nursery is available
Our pastor, Carey Meadows-Helmer, is currently on maternity leave. Our interim minister is the Reverend Judith Alltree.

When We Worship
Our current worship time is 9:30 am on
Sunday mornings until the end of June 2014. The first
Sunday in July 2014 we switch back to a 11:15 am
service for one year.
We celebrate Holy Communion weekly.

Several years ago, we undertook a new mission and
developed part of our yard into a vegetable garden to provide
fresh vegetables to local food agencies. We soon welcomed in
volunteers from the community, and now the Garden Party at
Redeemer Lutheran is a very successful Giving Garden, March
to October, providing over 500 pounds of food last year.
Stop by on a Saturday morning to see what's happening.
